Hande Varsat was born in 1983 in Istanbul. After completing high school at Robert College of Istanbul in 2001, she received a scholarship to study at Sabancı University's Visual Arts and Visual Communications Design program. After completing her studies in 2005, Hande Varsat worked for two years as a fashion designer and later as a marketing manager. She later entered Universidad Politécnica de Valencia in Spain, earning an Honor's degree for her master's in 2009. Since 2006, Hande Varsat has participated in numerous shows, including Global Edit at Armani Gallery (Milan 2006), Seriously Ironic at Centre PasquArt (Biel 2009), and Vitrine at Gallery Apel (Istanbul 2011). She staged her first solo exhibition Tradition's Triangle at El Punto del Carmen (Valencia 2010). Hande Varsat currently lives and works in Istanbul.
