"Contemporary Artists from Istanbul Present their Favourite Places."

34 artists were portrayed in their studios and accompanied to their favourite places. The camera eye challenged the artists to view their city in a different, perhaps in a new light. These "favourite place" photographs are in colour, whereas the portraits are black and white, accompanied by brief statements written by the artists themselves about "their city", Istanbul and about the inspiration for their art.

The exhibition will show selected works of some featured artists from Artistanbul. Yesim Agaoglu, Mehmet Aksoy, Arif Asci, Arzu Basaran, Mahmut Celayir, Umut Germec, Ara Güler, Mehmet Güleryüz, Gül İlgaz, Ergin İnan, Balcan Naci İslimyeli, Füsun Onur, Füruzan Simsek, Yavuz Tanyeli, Yunus Tonkus, Hande Varsat, Ercan Yilmaz, Erdogan Zümrütoglu.
